The National Sports Awards 2022 were recently announced by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports on 14th November 2022.But On 30th November, 2022, at 16:00 hours, the President of India will present the awards to the recipients at a specially prepared event at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Every year on National Sports Day (29th August) the National Sports Awards awarded in excellence in Sports to sportsperson from the country at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on 29th August. But due to some problem ,this year “The National Sports Awards” announced on 14th November 2022 the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports but awarded by President of India on 30th November 2022.
- This year the name of “Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award” changed to “Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award” in 2021.
