The National Sports Awards for the year 2021 were announced by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. President of India Shri Ramnath Kovind will felicitate the awardees on 13th November, 2021. Every year on National Sports Day (29th August) the National Sports Awards awarded in excellence in Sports to sportsperson from the country at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on 29th August. But due to some problem ,this year “The National Sports Awards” will awarded on 13th November 2021 by President of India Shri Ramnath Kovind.
This year the name of “Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award” changed to “Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award” 2021.
